BI Nutraceuticals Showcasing Quinoa Crisp and Two Unique Beverages at IFT Booth #1053

VP of Marketing Randal Kreienbrink to Discuss Better Utilization of Functional Ingredients and Botanicals in IFT Workshop

RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, CA – BI will be sampling several unique ingredients, including Quinoa Crisp, Faba Bean Protein, Cinnamon and Turmeric at booth #1053 during the 2016 IFT Annual Meeting and Food Expo being held July 16-19 in Chicago, Illinois. Attendees of IFT can taste a Quinoa Crisp Marshmallow Pop containing the company’s vegetarian protein, gluten free Quinoa ingredient (available in flake and crisp forms); a protein packed Horchata which features a clean-label, hypoallergenic Faba Bean Protein Concentrate (80%) with a Cinnamon Powder Extract; and a refreshing tropical juice containing a Turmeric Powder with Alfalfa, Broccoli, Kale and Spinach Powders.

Additionally, BI’s VP of Marketing Randy Kreienbrink will participate in a panel discussion entitled “Using Botanicals to Build Better Functional Foods and Beverages” on Monday, July 18 from 10:30 – 12:00 p.m. in room S402ab. BI’s Dr. Mike Wagner, Food Science Engineer, and Alison Raban, Certified Food Scientist, will also join Randy to discuss how to leverage functional ingredients and botanicals to boost functionality in foods and beverages, as well as how to navigate the technical challenges and product applications for different ingredients to maximize product success.
