BI Nutraceuticals Appoints Bob Harvey Vice President and General Manager of East Coast Facility

LONG BEACH, CA, October 9, 2007—BI Nutraceuticals today announced that Bob Harvey has been hired as vice president and general manager of the company’s east coast operations in Islandia, NY. In this position, Harvey will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities at BI East, and will also work to ensure continued growth and expansion.

Bob Harvey joins BI Nutraceuticals after a 25-year career with M&M Mars, where he held numerous senior positions and managed several brands for Mars’ confectionary and food production divisions. He has extensive operations and technical management experience in the confectionary, pet food and textile fibers industries. Harvey is recognized for his customer-focused supply chain leadership, site design and start-up strategies, as well as his ability to implement flexible and efficient work place policies. He has additionally worked as a food manufacturing strategies consultant. Harvey holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University in Villanova, PA.
