BI Nutraceuticals’ Exclusive Ginseng Extract Supplier Hongjiu Biotech Achieves NSF Certification
LONG BEACH, CA, November 17, 2008—BI Nutraceuticals today announced that its ginseng extract partner, Hongjiu Biotech, has been awarded NSF International Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) registration. NSF conducted a thorough audit of Hongjiu’s manufacturing processes, sanitation standards, pest control methods, personnel training, product testing practices and standard operating procedures and verified they met with their stringent GMP criteria. BI is currently the exclusive North American distributor for Hongjiu’s line of panax ginseng extracts.
