BI Promotes New West Coast Regional Sales Manager

RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, CA — BI recently announced the promotion of Julie Bates, a Customer Service Representative for 7 years, to West Coast Regional Sales Manager. Responsibilities of this position include supporting and expanding BI’s strong position with west coast customers, as well as growing the company’s customer base within the region.

With the recent retirement of Nicole Robertson, who was with BI for 18 years, BI needed to recruit an individual with intimate knowledge of the industry, along with a strong familiarity of BI’s customers. Julie has worked for BI for 7 years as both a Customer Service and International Sales Representative. Julie’s experience extends beyond BI to her previous employment at Bumble Bee Tuna as a Customer Service Representative and Inside Sales Manager.

“As a 7 year veteran of BI,” said Bates, “I’m thrilled to continue serving the team as the new West Coast Regional Sales Manager. BI’s reputation for exceptional quality standards and a supportive team environment make this a tremendous opportunity. I’m really looking forward to helping BI continue to provide the remarkable customer service BI is recognized for.”
